What the Agelity® insulin-sparing study found
This peer-reviewed study, published in Nutrients, provides a comprehensive characterization of the oral pharmacokinetics, endocrine effects, and metabolic actions of Agelity®, Advenion Nutrition’s standardized D-Pinitol ingredient, under fasting conditions. The research reported that Agelity® is rapidly absorbed after oral intake, reaches systemic circulation and liver tissue, and is cleared without accumulation — consistent with its suitability as a dietary ingredient.
Functionally, Agelity® was associated with a lower circulating insulin response while maintaining stable glycemia, consistent with support for healthy insulin balance. This insulin-efficient effect was accompanied by increased ghrelin secretion and adaptive hepatic metabolic regulation, and Agelity® was well tolerated at the tested doses.
These findings characterize Agelity® — a standardized, traceable source of D-Pinitol — as a metabolic modulator that supports a lower insulin demand without compromising glucose homeostasis, providing a strong scientific foundation for Agelity® in metabolic wellness and healthy aging applications. By evaluating the specific Agelity® ingredient rather than generic D-Pinitol, the study reinforces the value of standardization and analytical control.
This study evaluated pharmacokinetic, endocrine and metabolic responses under controlled conditions. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Agelity® is an ingredient and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
